Chevrolet 1971 Camaro

Description
Chevrolet 1971 ProStreet/Drag Car Camaro
This Camaro has been in my possession since 1982. This was my first car and I am the 3rd owner. This Camaro has been highly modified for racing but can also be a Sunday driver.

Motor is a 1975 010 Block 355 4 Bolt Main, Chevy steel crank, Lunati 6 Pro-Stock rods and 12 to 1 Lunati pistons. It has a solid roller, Lunati camshaft, 525 lift, 248 duration, 112 lobe centerline. This cam works very well on the street as well as the track. This motor has a Hamburg True Roller Timing Chain, 7-quart oil pan with crank scraper and windage tray and a millings high volume oil pump. On the top it has Brodex 11x aluminum cylinder heads with stainless 2.08 intake valves and 1.6 exhaust valves with K-Motion valve springs, titanium retainers and keepers, Sigerson aluminum roller rockers, competition cam push rods. I also run a Crane rev kit with the cam.

It has an Edelbrok Victor E intake on a 2 Fanalic Riser with a 750 holley double pumper carb. Mallory ignition, K&N air filter, electric water pump, ceramic coated hooker super competition headers, turbo 400 transmission with manual valve body and deep pan trans blanket and SFI approved flex plate, 10 TCI converter that stalls to 3500 RPM. Chris Austin 4 link suspension on coil over shocks, 8-3/4 Chrysler rear end with 456 gears. Firestone Phoenix 31x14 slicks, Centerline auto drag rims (front and back).

Fuel cell and battery in trunk, Herst quarter shift shifter.
On the Mister Gasket Computer Dyno at 6,000 RPM it made 528 HP and at 5,000 RPM it made 504 foot-pounds of torque. My best et at the track was 11.38 at 117 MPH, that was with a 8 TCI converter with the converter that is in the car now it runs 11.6-11.7 et.

Custom paint job in 2002. This car is solid and all metal except for the hood is a glass tek 6 cal-induction hood. The floorboards are solid. You will get lots of looks in this car.
